Dr. Todd & Tyler Burdick have treated a vast range of equine problems and are happy to visit your farm to perform a thorough exam and evaluation of your horse’s problem. A typical diagnostic visit includes a complete physical exam, including joint flexions and nerve blocks where indicated in lameness evaluations. 

Imaging...
When indicated specialized imaging can be performed on site. Imaging modalities we provide include:
  • Digital Radiographs – Our radiography system allows us to take and view radiographs on site. We have a digital system capable of performing hoof measurements for hoof balancing radiographs to assist your farrier. Our system also allows us to provide you with a digital copy of the films to keep for your personal records or to take with you in the event of referral to a specialist.
  • Digital Ultrasound – Our portable ultrasound unit is capable of performing tendon/ligament ultrasounds, reproductive tract ultrasounds in horses and livestock, as well as ultrasounds of masses, eyes, and other similar locations.
  • Upper Airway Endoscopy – We have a one meter endoscope capable of visualizing upper airways to evaluate laryngeal paralysis (roarers), sinuses, and other problems associated with the pharynx/larynx and guttural pouch.
